Touros
(North Coast)

Accessed by the roadway BR 101, situated 106 km from Natal, the city of Touros shelters the first register of the Portuguese presence at our coast. Dated of 1501, the landmark of Touros is a National Patrimony.
Among the attractions of Touros we can find the
Farol do Calcanhar (a centenary lighthouse), its livened up Carnival, its handicraft and the Church of Bom Jesus dos Navegantes.
The beach of Touros besides being pretty fun is extremely beautiful, with its landscape full of coconut trees.
