Genipabu
(North Coast)

25 km far from Natal, in the city of Extremoz, is certainty the most famous postal card of the Rio Grande do Norte. With its huge dunes and its sweet water lagoons, Genipabu is one of the main strolls of the Coast of the RN.
In its Dunes, around this lagoon that is common the practice of
esquibunda, where people goes down dunes in top of wood plates until falling into the lagoon.
It counts with an infrastructure to take care of the tourists, with restaurants, inns, hotels, tents on the beach, Buggy, raft and dromedary strolls in the sands of the beach.
The dunes of Genipabu attract tourist of the entire world searching for the Buggy stroll, that can be with emotion or without emotion to the taste of the traveler, however only credential professionals can execute the stroll for safety reasons and also to be able to access the places of the strolls, that are private properties.
A curiosity about the Dunes of Genipabu: they are mobile. The action of the wind, very intense in the RN, moves the sand of the places, that turns the landscape always newness, and is another reason for being precautious.
