Preserving the environment

by Lilian Canen

One of the most beautiful cities of the Brazilian coast, Natal is also one of cleanest. To keep it like that, the tourist, as well as the inhabitants, never must forget some basic principles, such as never to throw garbage on the floor or the streets or to remove plants of its gardens.

A clean environment, beyond being pleasant to the sight, is also healthful: an environment in which you will not have the risk to infect yourself for some of the illnesses of the garbage, either of rats, of mosquitoes, skin problems or even though respiratory problems.

To prevent this kind of malaise, people must be worried about how to take care of the environment. Selective garbage collection and ambient preservation are two of the biggest current problems. Any action in the way to save the water sources and energy is certainty a preservation act.

"Think globally, act local"
(René Jules Dubos, French biologist - 1901 -1982)

The little that each one of us do is added so that we can have a pretty and clean city.
