For those who don't like to travel alone, staying in a hostel is the ideal option
by Lilian Canen
Many
hostels offers rooms and special services for groups, making it easy for those who do not feel comfortable traveling alone to find a good place to stay on their trip.
However, the great advantage of staying in a hostel is the possibility of, traveling by oneself, making friendships with other guests, many of them also solitaire travelers. This is due to the hostels system of renting stream beds instead of rooms, and the rooms are separate for sex: men and women in distinct rooms.
This proximity between the guests is a good way of making friendships when on trips, and is also a way to obtain company for the tourist programs that the city reserves to its visitors. Thanks to the youth of its guests along with their friendly attitude the hostels have acquired a deloused and joyful atmosphere that promises to turn this trip into something beyond tourist strolls and ballads.
The hosteller membership card
Spread for more than 60 countries in the whole world, the youth hostels are an excellent resting option to the travelers because they have lodgings with an international standard of comfort, hygiene and security. Beyond the services usually offered by the establishments, such as opened kitchen, laundry, or individual closets, the hostels still have the characteristic that make them different of other kinds of inns: the possibility of becoming a membership.
The hosteller membership card can be made at any Youth Hostel, or by the Internet in the sites of the hostels or in the site of the
FBAJ - Brazilian Federacy of Youth Hostels. It offers to the member exclusive discounts, beyond preference on reservations and staying at the hostels around the world. It is enough to pay a tax of R$ 27,00 to become a hosteller. The membership card is one year valid, is renewable and accepted internationally.
