Seridó Touristic Routes

The region of the Potiguar Seridó, known by its gastronomy, culture and religiosity is gaining Integrated Tourist Routes becoming an alternative to the sun and beach tourism.
Its natural, agricultural, scientific-archaeological and paleontologistic potential allied to its people Faith, to its typical cuisine - represented by the cheeses and the salt meat as well as their hospitality is the differential of this region stuck in the northeastern half-barren.
The Sustainable Tourism Plan - Seridó Route, developed by
Sebrae and
State Tourism Secretary comes to take care of a tourism necessity in the Rio Grande do Norte, and of the
National Turismo Plan through the Tourism Regionalization Program -
Brazil Routes.
Create a new product in the shape of route guides that promotes the regionalization and the integration of the man with the nature inside of the limits that guarantee the environmental, economical, cultural, social and political sustainability is the main objective of the project, besides generating new jobs offers and improving the local population income.
